Volunteers

Thank you for volunteering!

The Founders Day Festival relies on volunteers to ensure the success of the event.  We love the support we have received from our community and hope to fulfill our two areas of need.  We are seeking Festival Volunteers and Living History Volunteers.

Living History Volunteers will share information about each of the historic cabins located at Paradise Spring Historical Park.

The focus will be coving the history of the Treaty of 1826 that took place on these grounds. Specifically, we are looking for volunteers to portray Native Americans, early settlers, craftsmen such as blacksmiths, and leaders of period-appropriate children's games and activities.

Some responsibilities of the festival volunteers will include helping at parade check-in stations, festival setup, welcoming guests, and cleaning up at the conclusion of the festival.

We are also looking for families who have a long history in Wabash County and would like to share their family stories.

Friday, September 10th, 2021 is the final day for volunteer registration.
